When Apple introduced Dashboard widgets in Mac OS X Tiger they opened the floodgates to a new universe of mini-applications – TV guides, system tools, knowledge sources and other tools are now just a click away. What Apple forgot to give users was a nice way to deal with their widgets. Sure, you can use the finder and download the widgets you want using your browser but it all feels a bit clunky. Surely, there must be a better, more ‘Mac’-like way of doing it?

Widget Tamer is that way. From one program you can have complete control of your widget collection and have access to the best widgets the web has to offer.

Tried a widget but don't like it? Use Widget Tamer to remove it. Want to share a widget with all the other users of your computer? Use Widget Tamer to make it available to all. With it's easy to use one window interface, Widget Tamer lets you see exactly what you have installed and where it is. You can move or uninstall widgets with a couple of clicks of your mouse.
