Our customers consist of banjo players, sitar players, bouzouki players, horn players, even pianists and celloists...and of course, guitar players.
Guitar Shed is a fully-integrated set of software tools for the guitarist (and other musicians). Its tools include two separate tuners (Chromatic and Tonal), tablature organizer, chord library, web manager, gig manager, jam machine, and song jam modules. All of this together, in a single software package, makes the most complete and essential suite of tools imaginable. On the road, in the studio, or at home - Guitar Shed will make a huge positive impact in your playing ability.
Includes an extensive tuner, with customizable alternative tunings, a chord library, tablature organizer, jam machine, song jammer as well as loop sections continuously for simple learning.

Tuners:
Choose between 2 separate tuning modules. Either the microphone-sensitive Chromatic tuner, or the Tone tuner (by ear)
Chromatic tuner listens to your guitar, and helps you get in tune quickly, automatically.
Tone tuner plays reference notes to help you tune your instrument. Included voices even include many guitars, piano, harpsichord, banjo, sitar, and more.
Special "Loop Note", "Chord Cycler", "Strum", and "Pick" to accommodate your tuning style.
Alternate tunings are fully supported - easily allows you to store an unlimited number of custom tuning configurations.
Tablature:
Easily organizes your guitar tablature into a single library - making it an essential tool for any guitarist that regularly refers to tabs on their computer. Add an unlimited number of tabs for easy, quick access.
Variable-speed automatic scrolling feature makes it easy to play-along with your tab.
"Easy Read" feature changes the text into a much more readable format.
With a single click, you can automatically get the tablature for the currently selected song in iTunes (Macintosh only feature), or find new tablature using the integrated search feature.
Import tablature you have on your computer for easy cataloging. Includes drag/drop support. (Support for text, ascii, and .crd files).
Chord Library:
Find popular chords using an easy-to-read "virtual" guitar fretboard (Available in 2 styles).
Hundreds of chords available, with dynamic fret numbering.
Listen to the chords using any of the 10 built-in instruments.
Left-handed mode reverses all chords, making it the ultimate tool for lefties.

Many other tools are included in this software package. Including a fully-adjustable metronome, jam machine, song jam, low-octave bass tuner, gig manager, web manager, and much, much more.

The demo may only be launched 10 times.
What's New:
Guitar Shed is now compiled using Mach-O for better performance.
Various fixes, optimizations, and interface improvements have been made to the entire suite.
The Chromatic Tuner (part of the Guitar Shed suite for Macintosh) is now a Universal Application, and will run natively on newer Intel-based Macs, as well as older PPC-based Macs too.
Now correctly quits when tuner window is closed.
Many 3rd-party sound input devices should work correctly now.
Accuracy of the metronome has been improved substantially.
Accent note is now played for the first beat (metronome).
Now supports protected iTunes Music Store songs that you've purchased.
AAC and Apple Lossless audio files can now be played as well.
ID3(v1) tags will be loaded if available to show Artist/Song title.
Song slow-down without changing the pitch is smoother, and offers a larger range of speeds than before.
What's New:
Overall application speed is faster, namely switching between rack modules is much quicker.
Chromatic Tuner handles external microphones better (Was an issue for some Intel-based Macs). Chromatic Tuner is a Universal Binary and is compatible with both Intel and PPC Macs.
Requirements:
Any Macintosh computer running OS X 10.2 or later (Including Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger).
QuickTime 6 or later (QuickTime 7 required for song slow-down without pitch change).
Note for older iMac users: If your built-in microphone doesn't work, try an external microphone plugged into your sound-input jack. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working on a fix.
