Desk Lamp is a flexible desktop search tool which focuses the power of Apple's Spotlight search technology on your documents, projects and work flows. Desk Lamp makes Spotlight a directed and powerful tool for managing your digital life. Search, Rate and Tag features allow you to organize your files without folders, empowering you to track projects, across your entire hard drive and in any application.

Desk Lamp sheds light on your day to day activities such as email, file management and even web browsing by providing custom views of Spotlight search results. A traditional List view quickly displays the name, rating, project, date and kind for your search results. Outline and Browser views let you drill down on search results to quickly identify critical documents and get right to work.

Saving Blotters disabled.

What's New:

Release 0.10 features a new address book style info view integrated into the search window.

New features include the ability to choose any attributes for display in the list and outline view and the ability to edit keywords directly in the list and outline view.

Changes include dropping of the term 'Blotter' from the user interface in favor 'Search' for clarity, full previews for jpeg, text, emlx, xml and folders in the info view and improved layout of the list and outline views.
