connection accounting, DoS attack prevention, SNMP monitoring, Cacti graphing integration, and auto-service-recovery watchdog. With its Apache compatible rewrite engine, .htaccess, and MS FrontPage support, migration is quick and easy. A web admin GUI included for online browser-based administration and configuration. LiteSpeed Web Server can be used as a content accelerator, compression proxy, or a Layer7 security firewall running in front of any web application server.
Runs natively with both Intel and PowerPC version of OS X.

CGI, Fast CGI and servlet engine run in standalone processes, the reliability of the web server is not affected by third party software.
