AreaList Pro is a plug-in for 4th Dimension that provides editable scrolling lists directly on your 4D applications forms. It equips you with the necessary tools to develop lists quickly and with increased flexibility. All features can be developed programmatically with AreaList Pro's extensive developer API, or through the Advanced Properties Dialog for easy point and click setup.

AreaList Pro gives you the ability to display fields or arrays, providing a full-featured interface for creating enhanced output forms. Using fields gives you speed because only the currently displayed records need to be loaded from disk. It also eases development by eliminating the need for any intermediate data structures.

For greater flexibility, AreaList Pro's ability to display standard 4th Dimension arrays, you total control over the displayed data ? including interfaces which communicate with external data sources (such as SQL connectivity). And for those times when you need speed and flexibility, calculated columns may be used when displaying fields.
